Thomas Cook has launched a postgraduate diploma in international tourism management. The course is conducted in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel (IITTM), Gwalior (by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India). The full two-year course includes an internship of two months and three months of training at work.

Manjula Chaudhary, director, IITTM said: "This is a unique experiment for the real time experience to the classroom. The program supports case-based learning and exposes students to international business environment. Students have a single exposure to real world during the program to enhance learning. The same result in meeting the exact needs of the industry therefore, the delivery of professional talent. "

The program will induce at 93 students and cost Rs 3.5 lakh. Graduates can start anything between Rs 12,000 to 15,000 rupees a month.

2. Media Fashion

Duration: Four years
Course Fee: Rs 90,000 per semester
Starting salary: Rs 25,000-Rs 30.000 hours

Pearl Academy of Fashion has launched its undergraduate program in the fashion media. Jaipuri Institute of Management, Lucknow has launched a postgraduate diploma in management with specialization in financial management. Graduates who have appeared for the combined entrance test (CAT) or the management of an aptitude test (MAT) will be eligible to apply. The full time program will induce two years 60 students.
